How much do you hope to collect? This is a time of BIG need and we are thinking BIG! With your help, we hope to fill a BIG truck (maybe even a 18 footer?) full of items!
What items can I bring? Flour, Sugar, Canned goods, Rice, Beans, Diapers, and more are some of the most requested items. Click here for a full list of items.
Will this event be socially distanced and safe? YES! We will set up a safe receiving and processing system on the day of the event that will maintain distance and respect CDC guidelines.
I won’t be able to get to the church on June 6th – can I drop off items beforehand? Absolutely! You can drop items at the church from 1-4pm on any weekday.
Is this drive open only to church members//Methodists only? No! We encourage all members of the community to participate! Please forward this information on to any of your neighbors and friends who may also want to help out their neighbors in need!
Where will the items be going? Calvary is working with community partners such as Casa Chiralagua, Arlington Food Assistance Center and the Tenants and Workers United to distribute the items where there is the most need.
Can I volunteer to help? Yes! Please email Kirsten Dougherty at [email protected] if you’d like to help with sorting items, loading, unloading, or delivery! We will need lots of help!
