At Calvary UMC there are many opportunities to make use of your musical talent. We love to sing, play instruments and make a joyful noise. If you are so inclined, we would love to have you join us. Adult Choir The Adult Choir practices Thursday nights at 8:00, and Sunday mornings at 10:30. We sing every Sunday at the 11:00 AM worship service! Speak to the music director, Mickey Fuson, for more information. Occasional Choir The Occasional Choir meets occasionally (hence the name) for a short rehearsal after the 8:30 service (at 9:30). We then present the piece we have rehearsed at the next 8:30 service. Please let Wayne Kemp know if you're interested in joining the Occasional Choir. We do not practice every Sunday, so please do check with Wayne. Children's Choir - 2nd to 5th Grades The Children's Choir meets to rehearse at 9:30 on Sunday mornings and occasionally performs during the 11:00 AM worship service. Speak to Mickey Fuson for more information. Adult Bell Choir The Adult Bell Choir practices Thursday nights at 7:00 and performs regularly. Speak to Mickey Fuson for information about joining. Youth Bell Choir - 5th Grade and Up Youth Bell Choir meets after the 11:00 AM worship service on Sunday afternoons, usually around 12:15 pm. Speak to Mickey Fuson for more information. The Organ
Calvary UMC is blessed with a beautiful 3 manual (keyboard) and pedal Shantz pipe organ. This versatile instrument fills the acoustically balanced room with a marvelous and simply indescribable sound which must be witnessed in person to believe. The organ is used in worship services every Sunday and is played by Mr. Dennis Thorp who has been with Calvary since 2002.
